This section features contemporary family portraits of familes in the Los Angeles area. I aim to show families in their natural state and capture the specific mood of each time and place. My process begins with a visit and photoshoot in the family's home. Referencing the photos I take, I then paint with acrylics. It's been a great experience meeting the families and observing the dynamics between the children. The kids have such colorful personalities and I try to capture that in the paintings. If you live outside of Southern California, I can also work off of photos you send me. Please inquire for quotes.
